Roseto Women

Panthers Roseto play in Serie A1 Femminile, the Italian women's top flight, after coming up from Serie A2 in 2025. The promotion was settled in the playoffs, where they beat Costa Masnaga 2-0. Sammie Puisis, an American, signed that year, and another American, Cali Clark, followed in 2026.

Roseto degli Abruzzi already had a basketball name before the women's team existed: the men's side, Pallacanestro Roseto, dates from 1946. The Panthers are a separate club, formed in 2006 and entered in Serie B of the Abruzzo-Molise region, their first Italian Basketball Federation (FIP) championship. The club took its present shape after Marco Aureli became president in 2012 and restructured the basketball sector. It has also carried sponsors' names over the years, among them ARAN Cucine and People Strategy.

The fixture with Magnolia Basket Campobasso is called the Derby Fraterno, the "Brotherly Derby", between Abruzzo and Molise.

In the 3X3 Serie A1 Femminile Techfind tournament, Roseto beat Famila Wuber Schio 19-17 in the final.
