Martina Bestagno was captain and the team's top scorer in 2020–21, the season Reyer won the Italian championship for the first time in 75 years. Around her stood Natasha Howard, Yvonne Anderson, Gintarė Petronytė and Temi Fagbenle. The final against Famila Wuber Schio, the club's rival in what Italians call the Derby Veneto, finished 3–0. The Supercoppa Italiana followed that autumn, again against Schio, 73–64.

The women's section did not have a continuous history to lean on. It was founded in 1941 inside Reyer Venezia, a gymnastics society that Pietro Gallo had started in 1872 and that had run a men's basketball team since 1925. The women won the national title in 1945–46, and the section was dissolved after the 1951–52 season. It was refounded in 1998 through a merger with Pallacanestro Favaro, and later folded back into the men's structure. The Coppa Italia and the first Supercoppa came in 2008, the cup final won 61–59 against Cras Taranto.

The team is based in Mestre, on the mainland side of the Venice municipality, and plays at the Palasport Giuseppe Taliercio, which holds 3,509. The nickname, Orogranata, is the gold-garnet of the shirts.

Schio was again the opponent when the third league title arrived in 2023–24, and the finals ended 3–0 once more. That squad included Kamiah Smalls, Awak Kuier and Dragana Stanković, alongside Matilde Villa and Francesca Pan, who came through the youth sectors of Ponzano and Montebelluna. The Supercoppa Italiana that year was won 88–81, against the same opponent.
