ZKK Kraljevo Women

Kraljevo sits on the Ibar. The club took shape in 1999 and picked up a nickname, Malene, that stuck: The Little Ones.

Nevena Jovanović is the name attached to that reputation, an Olympic bronze medallist and European champion with Serbia who came through the club before either title. Tatjana Živanović's arc runs the other way — she captained the side and stayed on as sports director once her playing days ended.

ZKK Kraljevo won the Serbian Cup in 2020, beating Radivoj Korać 76-73 in the final — a result that carried extra weight given how often the two sides meet as derby opponents. That same season the club had finished top of the regular-season table before the pandemic wiped out any chance of a declared league title, leaving the Cup as the only trophy the year actually produced. Runner-up finishes in the First Women's League followed in 2022/23 and again in 2024/25, the second of those lost to Crvena zvezda.

Recruitment has occasionally reached beyond Serbia's borders — American guard Brianna Wise signed in 2018 — but the club's identity rests more on what it has sent outward: 22 players capped for the national team, Kraljevo's basketball export for a town that keeps producing them. Home games are played in blue and white at the Hala sportova, a hall holding just over 3,300, where the Radivoj Korać derbies draw the sharpest crowds the city puts together.
