About the player
At Södra Sandby IF , the club in Lund Municipality where she grew up, Agnes Mårtensson spent thirteen years working her way through the youth ranks. She won the Gothia Cup with Södra Sandby in 2019 and, the same season, claimed the U17 Swedish futsal championship with the club.
The move to Malmö FF came in early 2023, when Mårtensson was still only 17, joining ahead of a season in Division 1 Södra. She was part of the squad that climbed from Division 1 Södra into Elitettan and then on into Damallsvenskan, Sweden's top flight. Her own Damallsvenskan debut followed in 2024.
Since then, she has made nine league appearances in the top flight and one assist, without scoring.
