Courtney Jade Nevin

Courtney Nevin's path to the top flight started far from any professional academy — Oakville Ravens, Parklea and Blacktown Spartans, the community clubs of her native New South Wales. It was at the Football NSW Institute that she first stood out, scoring 11 goals in 25 games on her way to the NPLW NSW Player of the Year award in 2018. That form carried her into the Western Sydney Wanderers' senior side the same year, and from there into the A-League Women with Melbourne Victory, where she lifted the championship in a Grand Final win over Sydney FC and was named to the competition's Team of the Year.

The move to Hammarby IF in 2022 took her to Sweden alongside her Melbourne Victory teammate Kyra Cooney-Cross, and a loan spell turned permanent deal took her on to Leicester City. She left Leicester in July 2025 with plenty of interest in her signature, before committing to a three-year contract at Malmö FF at the end of that month.

Nevin made her senior debut for Australia in June 2021, coming off the bench in a friendly defeat to Denmark, and has since become a regular fixture for the Matildas, passing 40 caps. Her lone international goal came against Wales in October 2025.
