About the player
Hlín Eiríksdóttir made her Valur debut at fifteen and went on to score 33 goals in 80 league appearances for the Reykjavík club, a run that included the Besta deild kvenna title in 2019, when she also finished as the league's joint top scorer. That form took her abroad at the end of 2020, to Piteå IF in Sweden.
In July 2026 she completed a permanent move to Malmö FF, signing a contract running to the end of 2029 and taking the number 9 shirt in the Damallsvenskan. A right-footed forward, she has followed a family path into the game: her mother, Guðrún Sæmundsdóttir, was capped by Iceland.
Eiríksdóttir has represented her country at U17, U19 and senior level, and has earned 60 caps for the senior side, scoring eight goals. She was part of the Iceland squad that won the Pinatar Cup in 2023.
