Zećira Mušović

Zećira Mušović switched to goalkeeper at 12 after starting out as an outfield player at Stattena IF, and by 16 she had already moved to LdB FC Malmö. She spent time as backup to Þóra Björg Helgadóttir before taking over as first choice, going on to make 108 league appearances and winning four Damallsvenskan titles along with three Svenska Cupen trophies and two Svenska Supercupen crowns.

A free transfer took her to Chelsea in January 2021, where she competed with Ann-Katrin Berger for the gloves. She made 51 competitive appearances and kept 27 clean sheets, and won five Women's Super League titles, two League Cups and three FA Cups during her time there. Her contract ran until the summer of 2025; she announced her pregnancy in February that year, which ended her season early, and departed upon expiry before returning to her former club, now rebranded Malmö FF, on a three-year deal.

She started every match up to the semi-final at the 2023 World Cup as Sweden finished third. In the last-16 win over the United States, she made 11 saves in a clean sheet, breaking the record for most saves by a goalkeeper in a World Cup match, and was named player of the match. Across the tournament she made 21 saves. She had earlier been part of the Swedish squad that won silver at the Tokyo Olympics, serving as backup to Hedvig Lindahl and not featuring in any matches, though she was vocal afterwards in criticising the scheduling of the final because of the heat. She has also won the Algarve Cup twice with Sweden.
