Cédric Adrian Zesiger

Cédric Zesiger stands 194 cm tall. Born in Meyriez, he came through the youth ranks at FC Müntschemier and FC Xamax 2007 before joining Neuchâtel Xamax, where he made his senior debut in 2015 and went on to play 32 league matches. A move to Grasshoppers followed in August 2016, and three years there yielded 46 league appearances and two goals.

Zesiger joined BSC Young Boys in June 2019. Over 102 league appearances and four goals, he became a fixture in a side that won three Swiss Super League titles, in 2019–20, 2020–21 and 2022–23, along with the Swiss Cup in the same final campaign. That run of success led to a transfer to VfL Wolfsburg in May 2023, where he made 30 league appearances in the Bundesliga.

In January 2025, Zesiger joined FC Augsburg on loan. Across eight Bundesliga starts and 675 minutes on the pitch during that loan spell, Augsburg did not concede a single goal. The club made the move permanent in May 2025, and he went on to make 27 league appearances in the 2025–26 season.

Internationally, Zesiger made his debut for Switzerland on 1 September 2021, in a 2–1 friendly win over Greece. He has since earned six senior caps and was part of the Swiss squad at UEFA Euro 2024, having previously come through the national youth setup at Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level.
