About the player
Denis Višinský joined the Slavia Prague academy at the age of six after starting out at FC Mělník. He signed his first professional contract with Slavia in February 2021 and, in the 2020–21 season, was part of the squad that won the Czech First League and the Czech Cup, though his involvement was limited to two league appearances and no minutes in the Cup final.
A loan to second-tier Vlašim in 2021–22 gave him regular football, and he repaid it with 15 league appearances and three goals. That form led to a permanent move to Slovan Liberec in January 2022, with Slavia inserting a buy-back option into the deal. Over three seasons in Liberec he became a fixture in the side, making 76 league appearances and scoring ten goals, adding three more in the Czech Cup, before leaving as a free agent in May 2025.
He signed for Viktoria Plzeň on a three-year contract straight after leaving Liberec. At Plzeň he has continued to score regularly, with eight league goals from 27 appearances and a further goal in European competition, taking his overall tally for the club to nine goals in 41 games across all competitions.
He made his senior debut in 2026 and marked it with a goal against Guatemala in a 3–1 friendly win, one of three caps he has won so far. A routine withdrawal from the national squad through injury in September 2026 is the only interruption noted in his career to date.
