About the player
Karel Spáčil made his senior debut at SK Prostějov in 2022.
The move paid off quickly. In January 2025, Plzeň paid 40 million Czech koruna, roughly €1.6 million, to sign him — then immediately loaned him straight back to Hradec Králové to finish out the season. He only pulled on the Plzeň shirt for real afterwards, and in the 2025–26 season has already made 17 league appearances and scored once.
Spáčil has also worked his way through the Czech youth set-up, with three caps at U20 level followed by eight at U21. His goal at the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship came in a tournament his side had qualified for with his help.
