About the player
Muhammed Cham grew up in Vienna and worked through the youth ranks at SC Red Star Penzing and Hannover 96 before Wolfsburg took him on, where he was limited to three appearances for the reserve side.
He built on that form back at Clermont Foot, finishing as the French club's top scorer with eight goals in 2023–24 after two seasons that brought 71 league appearances and 15 goals in total. That record took him to Trabzonspor for a fee of around €4 million in 2024. His first season in Turkey brought a painful moment: on 12 January 2025 he scored in a 5–0 win over Antalyaspor, only to suffer extensive bone edema in his big toe four minutes later. He still ended the campaign with 23 Süper Lig appearances and four goals.
In August 2025 he joined Slavia Praha on a season-long loan, with the Czech club holding an option to buy him for €5.5 million, and went on to win the Czech First League title in his first season there.
Cham has represented Austria at senior level since making his debut against Croatia in the UEFA Nations League in September 2022.
