Stefan Gudel

Stefan Gudelj started out as a midfielder. It was only during his development at Crvena zvezda's academy, which he joined in the summer of 2018 after a brief spell at Feniks FFC, that the club moved him back into central defence — a switch that stuck. Before that he had learned the game at Leotar in his native Trebinje, and along the way he also passed through the youth ranks at Čukarički and Grafičar.

At Crvena zvezda he was made captain of the youth side. That trust was followed by a first professional contract in May 2025, running to 2028, and then by an early renewal: in January 2026 the deal was extended to 2029. His senior debut in the Serbian SuperLiga followed in February 2026. He also spent part of the 2025/26 season out on loan at Grafičar, where he gained senior football away from Marakana.

Gudelj's international story took a turn. He first represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at Under-16 level, playing twice against Romania in September 2021, before switching allegiance to Serbia. He made his Under-21 debut in March 2026 in friendlies against Kyrgyzstan in Antalya. He has since won the Serbian SuperLiga with Crvena zvezda's first team, though he is yet to earn a senior cap for Serbia.
