About the player
Nantes handed Tylel Tati his Ligue 1 debut on 17 August 2025 against Paris Saint-Germain, and he played the full match at the age of 17. It marked the arrival of a player who had spent a decade in the game without setting foot at a professional club before that season: Tati came through the youth ranks at US Roissy-en-Brie, spent a year at the INF Clairefontaine academy, and only joined Nantes' structures in 2023.
Tati kept his place in the side through the first half of the 2025/26 season and was nominated for FC Nantes' Player of the Month award for August. His progress was then interrupted by an adductor injury.
Tati's rise has been mirrored at international level. He has been capped by France at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 level, and has gone on to earn caps for the Under-19s.
