About the player
Football at Malmö FF Women runs through Tuva Skoog in the way it once ran through the club she left. Skoog started out at Morön BK, her local side, where she began playing at five or six and made her senior debut in the Elitettan at just 14. She stayed there through the 2021 season, then moved on to Umeå IK in the Damallsvenskan for 2022 before joining Piteå IF Dam in January 2023.
It was at Piteå that she had her breakthrough campaign. In the 2023–24 season she scored a hat-trick against IK Uppsala in a 6–0 group-stage win, part of a run that ended with Piteå lifting the Svenska Cupen after beating IF Brommapojkarna 3–0 in the final. That form made her one of three Piteå players, alongside Moa Öhman and Ellen Löfqvist, to move to Malmö FF as the club announced her signing on a free transfer in November 2024, on a three-year contract starting in January 2025 as Malmö prepared for their return to the Damallsvenskan.
She has not yet appeared for the senior national team.
