Women's Caribbean Premier League is a professional Twenty20 cricket franchise competition in the West Indies. Organised by Cricket West Indies and the Caribbean Premier League, it was founded in 2022. The tournament operates as a high-profile closed league, distinct from the traditional regional representative structure that includes the Women's Super50 Cup and Twenty20 Blaze. It does not utilize a promotion or relegation pyramid.
The competition currently features three teams: Barbados Royals Women, Guyana Amazon Warriors Women, and Trinbago Knight Riders Women. This roster size is a key distinction from the men's counterpart, which fields seven squads. The format consists of a single round-robin group stage where each team plays the others once, followed by a single Final match between the top two teams. A Super Over determines the winner in the event of a tie. The league shares the same franchise owners as the men's teams but operates with a smaller scale and different scheduling, often preceding or running concurrently with the men's tournament.
The draft process initially focused on local players with limited overseas imports, differing from the men's league's larger auction-based system. Trinbago Knight Riders Women won the inaugural 2022 title. Barbados Royals Women are the most successful team, having won the titles in 2023, 2024, and 2025. The tournament is officially known as the Massy Women’s Caribbean Premier League, sponsored by the Massy Group.
