Suwon FC Women

The Suwon Sports Complex holds 11,808 people. When the club merged into Suwon FC ahead of the 2022 season, the women's side took the same ground, the same crest and the same blue, red and white as the men's professional team.

That corporate origin dates to 28 February 2008, when the team was formed as Suwon Facilities Management Corporation WFC. It played the WK League under that structure, later renamed Suwon UDC WFC and then Suwon FMC, before the 2022 merger folded it into the men's K League 1 club and gave it the name it carries now.

The club's two WK League titles sit eight years apart and under two different names. The first came in 2010 as Suwon FMC, won in the play-offs after finishing second in the regular season. The second arrived in 2024 as Suwon FC Women, again via the play-offs after a second-place finish, this time under head coach Park Kil-young. Between those two championships the team reached the final twice more, in 2019 and 2023, without getting over the line on either occasion.

Park's title-winning squad now has captain Ji So-yun back in the side after her return in 2026 following her spell at Chelsea, alongside national-team players Kim Hye-ri and Choe Yu-ri. Lee Eun-mi joined the coaching staff as assistant in 2026 after ending her playing career.
