About the player
The clearest line on Agustín's record was written before he had played a senior match: he kept goal for the Nacional side that won the 2018 Copa Libertadores Sub-20, beating Independiente del Valle in the final.
Nacional's youth system was where he learned the job, and it was also where his route through Uruguayan football turned. He was released, and every move he has made since has been a free transfer.
He was handed his professional debut by Juventud de Las Piedras in the Uruguayan Primera División in 2019. The top-flight spell did not last: Juventud went down in 2020. In January 2023 he joined Sportivo Cerrito, again in the second tier. January 2025 took him to Oriental de La Paz, also in the Segunda.
In January 2026 he signed for Montevideo Wanderers, once more without a fee, on a contract that runs to 31 December 2026.
