Allan

Allan's career began far from Brazil's football heartlands, at Liverpool, where the midfielder signed as a teenager but never made a first-team appearance. Instead, the years passed in loan spells scattered across Finland, Belgium, Germany, Cyprus and back home in Brazil — a stretch that ended with a Finnish championship medal at SJK before the move to Liverpool ever paid off on the pitch.

The turn came at Atlético Mineiro, where Allan finally settled into a starting role. Between 2020 and 2023 he collected a Brazilian championship, a Copa do Brasil and four state titles in Minas Gerais, and was twice named to the state championship's team of the tournament. That run made him a wanted man, and Flamengo paid to bring him to Rio de Janeiro in 2023.

At Flamengo, Allan added a Copa Libertadores, a further Brazilian championship and another Copa do Brasil to his collection. The move was not without setbacks: in September 2023 he underwent surgery on his foot after picking up an injury against Atlético Paranaense. There was also a moment of controversy in April 2026, when he was sent off for an obscene gesture during a 1-3 defeat to Fluminense.

Allan has represented Brazil at youth level, with seven caps for the under-20 side and one appearance for the under-23s, though call-ups to the senior national team remain unconfirmed beyond reported interest in 2018 and 2022.

Now 29, he joined Corinthians on loan from Flamengo in January 2026, with the Sao Paulo club holding an option to make the move permanent for half of his rights at the end of the season.
