About the player
Pedro Raul stands out for size rather than a single moment that made his name — at 193cm, he is built to lead the line as a target man, and his career has been a steady accumulation of moves rather than one defining transfer. He started out at Cruzeiro-RS in 2016 before a switch to Portugal with Vitória de Guimarães, where he spent two seasons.
His return to Brazilian football took him through Atlético Goianiense and Botafogo, the latter arriving on a free transfer in 2020. What followed was a period of near-constant movement: a spell in Japan with Kashiwa Reysol, then loan spells in Mexico with Juárez, back home with Goiás, a stint at Vasco da Gama, and another run in Mexico with Toluca. Few strikers of his generation have crossed as many borders and league structures in such a short stretch.
The 2025 season brought Pedro Raul's most productive period. On loan at Ceará, he won the Campeonato Cearense. He then moved to Corinthians, where he took the number 18 shirt and won the Campeonato Paulista. The Supercopa do Brasil followed at the start of 2026, giving him back-to-back trophies with the São Paulo club inside little more than a year.
He has never been capped by the senior Brazil side, though his name came up under Tite as a player under consideration for the squad — recognition that stopped short of a call-up.
