Diego Fernando Herazo Moreno

Herazo finished the 2023 Liga BetPlay as its top scorer, and the goals brought a price tag with them: in February 2024 San Lorenzo de Almagro paid around $920,000 to bring him to Argentina, a fee split 70–30 between Deportes Tolima and Independiente Medellín, the club that had first turned him professional.

He came out of Condoto, in Chocó, and was schooled at the Fundación Deportiva Jackson Martínez before Medellín took him on. His senior debut arrived there in 2015, and the years that followed were spent almost entirely elsewhere. Cúcuta Deportivo, Valledupar, Atlético Bucaramanga, La Equidad, Millonarios — five loans in six seasons. The spells were not wasted. He was the Apertura's leading scorer in 2021 with eleven goals, and top scorer of the Copa Colombia in 2022 with three, in a season Millonarios won the competition.

The San Lorenzo deal did not put him in Argentina straight away. He was loaned on to Nacional in Uruguay, and that turned into a significant period of his career: the Torneo Intermedio in 2024, then the Supercopa Uruguaya and the Primera División in 2025. He also topped the Copa AUF Uruguay scoring charts in 2024 with four goals. He came back to San Lorenzo in July 2025.

The earlier honours came in Colombia — Categoría Primera A in 2016-I and the Copa Colombia in 2019, both with Medellín. He has not yet played a senior international for Colombia.
