Theo Rodriguez Pacano

He was seven when he first pulled on a San Lorenzo shirt, in the club's Fútbol Infantil in 2012. Then he left. The part that matters came later: in 2022 he came back, settled into the age-group sides and moved up to the Reserve Division under Pipi Romagnoli. Three years after that return he was in the senior team.

The debut arrived on 12 April 2025, against Atlético Tucumán. A left-back by trade, Rodríguez Pagano has started regularly through the 2025 and 2026 seasons. Because he came up through the club's own structure, the step into the first team was an internal promotion — no transfer fee was recorded.

Argentina called him up to the Under-20 squad in July 2024. At the 2025 South American U-20 Championship in Venezuela he made three appearances and scored once, against Bolivia. He was then named among the defenders in the Argentina squad that reached the final of the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, alongside Dylan Gorosito, Julio Soler and Tobías Ramírez. Diego Placente's side lost the final 2–0 to Morocco. By late 2025 he had roughly ten or eleven official caps at that level.

There is nothing yet in the trophy cabinet: no senior club title, no individual award. What he has is a run of starts at a club he has belonged to, on and off, since he was a child, and a tournament in Chile where Argentina went all the way to the last match and found no answer.
