Matías Reali

The move that took Matías Reali to San Lorenzo de Almagro in June 2024 cost the club around $1.8 million.

He grew up in the game at Everton de La Plata, between the ages of ten and twelve, before joining the academy at Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata in 2010. He stayed there until 2018 and was released without a senior appearance. Everton de La Plata took him back, and that is where he made his debut as a professional in 2018–19.

What followed reads as a list of short stays: Villa San Carlos in 2019, then Defensores de Cambaceres, where he scored four goals across the 2019–20 season. In 2020 he left for Ciclón in Bolivia, returned for spells at Círculo Deportivo and Altos Hornos Zapla, and finally landed at Gimnasia de Jujuy in 2022. There he had his first sustained run — 29 appearances and three goals in the Primera Nacional.

The turn came in late 2023, when he joined Independiente Rivadavia on loan.

His return in front of goal has come mainly outside the league. Across the 2025/26 season he has played 13 Liga Profesional matches without scoring, registering one assist. In the Copa Argentina he has two goals, and in the Copa Sudamericana two assists.
