The deal was settled when Peñarol kept 25% of his economic rights, letting San Lorenzo sign him without paying the sum upfront.

In June 2024 he left Peñarol for Banfield on a one-year loan, the arrangement carrying an option to buy 50% of his rights for $600,000. He played 30 matches, 27 of them from the start, and scored once. Banfield declined the option and he went back to Uruguay.

He featured in three matches as Peñarol won the 2022 Copa Libertadores Sub-20, then reached the final of that year's FIFA U-20 Intercontinental Cup, where Benfica beat them. In 2023 he was a runner-up at the South American U-20 Championship and then won the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina, Uruguay beating England in the final.

The senior breakthrough at Peñarol did not follow. He debuted on 29 October 2023 in a Copa AUF Uruguay tie against Sud América, but first-team minutes stayed scarce. He has yet to play for the senior Uruguay side.
