About the player
Dylan Batubinsika came through the Paris Saint-Germain academy, spending three seasons with the club's reserve side before leaving France for Belgium in 2017. At Antwerp he settled into regular first-team football over four years and won the Belgian Cup in the 2019/20 season.
A move to Portugal's Famalicao followed in 2021, though he was away from the club on loan at Maccabi Haifa in Israel, where he won the league title in 2022/23. He returned to France in 2023, joining Saint-Etienne, where he remained until 2026 before signing for Larisa in Greece as a free agent.
Batubinsika made his debut for the Democratic Republic of Congo on 14 June 2023 in a friendly against Uganda. He scored his first goal for the national team on 19 November 2024, against Ethiopia in qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. He was part of the Congolese squad that finished fourth at that tournament and has since been named in the group preparing for the 2026 World Cup.
A right-footed centre-back standing at 188cm, Batubinsika wears number 28 at club level, having worn number 5 for his country.
