Fabrizio Angileri

Fabrizio Angileri's road to Corinthians ran through Copa Libertadores glory before he had turned professional in any meaningful sense. He came through at Estudiantes de La Plata and was part of the squad that won the 2009 Copa Libertadores, a continental title earned before his career had properly taken shape.

His path since has taken him across three countries. From Estudiantes he moved to Europe, spending time at Sunderland in England and later at Málaga in Spain, before returning to Argentina. At River Plate, where he spent three seasons between 2018 and 2021, he established himself as a regular left-back in one of the country's biggest clubs. San Lorenzo also featured on his résumé during his time in Argentine football.

Born in Mendoza, Angileri plays as a left-back and is left-footed, a trait that has shaped his profile as a defender comfortable pushing forward down the flank. He now plies his trade in Brazil with Corinthians, wearing the number 26 shirt.
