Guzmán Corujo

Guzmán Corujo left Club Nacional de Football in 2021 as a free agent, after 108 appearances, four goals and three titles: the Uruguayan Primera División in 2019 and 2020, and the Supercopa Uruguaya in 2021. He had come through the club's youth academy and made his senior debut there in 2017.

In January 2022 he crossed to Major League Soccer, joining Charlotte FC on a free transfer for the club's first season. He stayed through 2023, playing 32 matches and scoring once.

What followed was harder to make sense of. In February 2024 Charlotte loaned him to the Serbian club FK Čukarički, where he made no official first-team appearances at all. The next loan, in early 2025, took him to Deportivo Cali in Colombia, and there the line moved again: 24 appearances under coach Alfredo Arias.

When his Charlotte contract expired, Corujo signed for San Lorenzo de Almagro in January 2026, again on a free transfer — his first club in Argentina.

He has worn Uruguay's shirt at youth level from U-15 through U-20 and U-23, and was called up to the U-23 squad for the 2023 Pre-Olympic Tournament. No senior cap is on record.
