Oluwatobiloba Alagbe

Number 69 is not a defender's shirt in most squads, but Oluwatobiloba Alagbe wore it at Asteras Tripolis for several years, long enough to finish as one of the most capped players of the club's modern era.

The Lagos-born defender arrived in Greece in 2019 with no career on record before that. Asteras put him in the U19 side, where he made 27 appearances, and moved him up to the senior squad in 2020. He made his debut that year. By the time he left in July 2026 he had 89 league appearances and four goals in the Greek Super League, and 101 appearances across all competitions.

The middle of that spell was spent elsewhere. Asteras sent him to Luxembourg twice, both times on free loans: Jeunesse Esch for 2021–22, 17 league games and a goal, then Progrès Niederkorn for 2022–23, where he played 10 and scored once.

He has never been called up by Nigeria, at senior level or in the U-20 and U-23 age groups, and has no team titles or individual awards to his name. What he has is the appearance column, built in one place over a long stretch.

On 26 July 2026 he joined FC Argeș Pitești of Liga I on a free transfer.
