Foad Bader Eid

Foad Bader Eid built his early career in Lebanon before an unusual route took him to South American football. He came through Tripoli SC, making 14 appearances in his first spell in 2018–19, then spent a season at Al Ahed, where he scored twice in three league appearances and also featured in the AFC Cup. He returned to Tripoli SC in 2021 and stayed for three seasons, 15 appearances in 2021–22, 14 the following season, then 22 in 2023–24.

The move to Ecuador marked a sharp turn in his career. Eid signed for San Antonio Ibarra, then playing in the Ecuadorian second division, and made four appearances there in early 2025. He then joined El Nacional before moving on loan to Universidad Católica in June 2025. Universidad Católica now fields him as a forward, and he has continued with the club into 2026, appearing in Liga Pro and the Copa Libertadores.

Lebanese by birth, his path from Tripoli's domestic league to Ecuadorian football via a brief spell in the second division stands out as the defining thread of his career so far.
