Wallace Yan

Wallace Yan broke his right shinbone at Ferroviária in 2021, an injury that could have ended his rise before it began. He returned, and by 2022 Flamengo had brought him into the academy, keeping 70% of his rights while Ferroviária retained the remaining share.

The move paid off. Wallace Yan made his first-team debut for Flamengo in 2024 and quickly became a fixture in the club's youth honours list: top scorer at the Copa Libertadores Sub-20 in 2024, a winner of that same competition, and part of the squad that lifted the Copa do Brasil the same year. In 2025 he added the Brazilian championship and a senior Copa Libertadores title to his collection.

His name reached a wider audience on 20 June 2025, when he scored the decisive goal in Flamengo's 3-1 win over Chelsea at the Club World Cup, a moment that marked his emergence at the highest level.

In January 2026, a transfer to RB Bragantino appeared close to completion, with a fee of €10 million plus €2 million in add-ons agreed between the clubs. The deal has stalled over payment terms, and Wallace Yan has remained at Flamengo.
