Caboolture

Caboolture Sports FC spend this season in Football Queensland Premier League 1, the top state division.

Then in 2021 the club won FQPL 2 and became the competition's first champion. The Championship decider that year got away from them, 1:3 against Grange Thistle, but the league placing was the thing that mattered.

The women's side has since gone further. In 2025 they beat Olympic FC on penalties in the FQPL 1 Grand Final, taking the highest title in Queensland women's football. Amali Kinsella, a defender, learned the game here in the men's team under her father before moving to Brisbane Roar and taking the Sue Monteath Award as the best player of her age group.

The Mighty Snakes play in blue from shirt to socks, at the Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex in Burpengary. A friendly in 2022 brought the Solomon Islands national team to Caboolture, and the hosts won it 2:1.

It became Caboolture Sports Soccer Club in 1997, when a merger with a multi-sport club steadied the finances, and Caboolture Sports FC in 2019. Before all of that, in 1969, it was St Michael's Soccer Club, started by Father Francis of the local St Michael's church.
