The last of the four came in 2017, nine years after the run ended.
The cup record tells a different story about the same team. The 2009 win came a year after the third championship, when the side was still recognisably the one that had dominated the league. The next two, in 2014 and 2015, arrived back to back in a period when the title was going elsewhere.
The club took its present shape on 17 November 1975, when the football section broke away from Tapion Honka, a multi-sport organisation that had been going since 1957. Yellow and black came with it, and stayed: the players are still known as the Keltamustat, which is simply the colours turned into a name.
Home is Tapiolan Urheilupuisto, the sports park in the Tapiola district of Espoo, with room for 6,000.
