Killas Women

In 2023 the club went into a match against Ayacucho needing points to stay in Peru's top flight, and won it 5-1.

The team began as something much smaller. Under the name Pichangas – Fútbol Femenino it played amateur competitions and seven-a-side tournaments, and in 2019 it travelled to Montevideo to represent Peru at the Liga América de Fútbol 7. The founding date, 8 May 2015, belongs to that earlier version of the club; the change of name to Fútbol Club Killas came before the step up to professional football in 2021.

That first professional season was played centrally at the Estadio San Marcos, so the club had a league place before it had a home crowd. It settled afterwards at the Estadio Municipal de La Molina, a 5,000-capacity municipal ground in the district the team is named for, and in 2025 it also used the Estadio Villa Poeta.

Olienka Salinas has been in charge since 2022, taking over from Richard Salcedo. Seventh place, reached in 2022 and again in 2025, remains the best the club has managed.

The purple shirt with light blue sleeves, worn with pink socks, is why the Peruvian press calls them las violetas, the violets. No other nickname has stuck.

Killas share the league with the country's established women's sides. The Ayacucho result is remembered because relegation was the alternative.
