They reached it by knocking out Universitario on penalties in the semi-final, then drew 1:1 with Alianza Lima in the first leg. The second leg finished 0:3.

In 2023 Alianza Lima put them out in the semi-finals on the way to another championship. In 2024 it was Universitario, 1:5 across two legs. In 2025, in the Clausura, Alianza again, 0:5.

Ana Irin Alva, the captain, signed on again for 2025, as did the goalkeeper Karla López. The reinforcements that year came from outside Trujillo — the Colombian midfielder Diana Chávez among them.

Home is the Estadio Mansiche, whose yellow shirts and black shorts the women's side wears too. Atlético Trujillo, from the same city, provides the local fixture, though nobody has settled on a name for it.

The ground holds 25,036.
