In November 2023, UNSAAC reached the final of the Liga de Ascenso Femenina in Huacho and took Biavo FC to penalties after a 2-2 draw, losing the shootout 4-2.

UNSAAC represents the Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco and plays its home matches at Estadio Garcilaso. The 2024 debut season was a struggle from the start: the squad finished 13th, at the bottom of the table, but stayed up regardless. It came on 25 April 2026, a 1-0 result against Carlos Mannucci.

Shirley Tomayconsa has generally worn the captain's armband through these seasons. In September 2025, a match against Alianza Lima in Cusco turned into something bigger than the result: Alianza Lima player Sashenka Porras was racially abused during the game, and the club filed an official complaint afterward.
