Maggi added a second shortly after the break. The result moves Sportivo Luqueño to tenth place with three points from three games, while San Lorenzo remain in eleventh with a solitary point.
San Lorenzo started brightly enough, earning a yellow card for J. Barrios within the first ten minutes. They dominated possession and had more attacks on goal, but could not break through.
