Korona Kielce and Wisła Kraków shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Suzuki Arena on Saturday evening. The Ekstraklasa's seventh round fixture ended level after Alan Uryga's late equaliser cancelled out Ondrej Lingr's early opener for the hosts. By then, the match had already settled into a rhythm neither side could quite break.
Lingr broke the deadlock in the twenty-fourth minute, capitalising on a moment of clarity in an otherwise scrappy opening quarter. Wisła responded with more possession but struggled to convert their advantage into clear-cut opportunities. And here's the thing — they came for a cross he never reached, and the pattern repeated itself several times.
Kielce made changes to their structure after the break, bringing on Konrad Ciszek and Morgan Faßbender in the fifty-eighth minute. Wisła pushed further, substituting both Ertlthaler and Youan in quick succession as they searched for an opening. The home side held firm, though, and saw out the period without conceding.
It was only when the clock ticked past ninety that the game finally opened up. Uryga found space in the box and finished clinically in the two minutes of added time, sending the away end into raptures. Kielce had their chances to respond but couldn't muster a meaningful attack before the final whistle.
