The opening exchanges came fast. A goal at 16 minutes put the hosts ahead, then another at 21 minutes stretched the advantage. Tuggeranong United were not done yet.
The second half opened with a response at 64 minutes that brought guests back into the contest. But the hosts answered at 75 minutes, then again at 85 minutes. A late strike at 90+4 minutes put the game to bed early.
Both sides carry clean records without a draw this season. Queenborough City sit sixth on 24 points from 12 matches, while Tuggeranong United lead by one point at fifth after 13 games.
