Su Inzingvolley/vc Mils Women — Eisenerz/Trofaiach Women, AVL Women

Eisenstadt-Trafoi women took all three sets against Südtirol Volley-Mills in the opening round of the Austrian Volleyball League on Sunday. The visitors completed a 3-0 victory in what was a clean sweep for the away side.

The result leaves Trafoi fifth in the table with three points from one game, while Mills remain seventh with none. It is a straightforward start for both sides, but the gap between them is already visible on the standings.

Trafoi come into this fixture having won their last outing 3-0 against Wildcats, and they carried that momentum across the border. Mills, by contrast, lost 1-3 to Graz in their previous match and arrived here looking to bounce back.

What we have so far is a simple pattern: the better side took the points when it mattered. Whether this translates into a full season remains to be seen, but for now Trafoi are ahead on form and table position.
