The address is Parkgasse 17, and the Sporthalle Purgstall is where the volleyball players of ASKÖ Volksbank Purgstall play their fixtures in the 2. Bundesliga. The women's team belongs to a multi-sport association in Purgstall an der Erlauf, in Lower Austria. The association dates from 1946 and is also known as Sportvereinigung Purgstall.

The team has no nickname. Local media call the players the Purgstaller Volleyballerinnen.

Most of the silverware sits in the age groups. The girls' teams have won Lower Austria state titles at U11, U12 and U15. The U13 team finished as state runners-up. These are titles in the state's own competitions, won in the youth divisions.

The seniors have a Lower Austria Cup win to their name (the NÖ-Cup) and a promotion into the 2. Bundesliga. They play in violet and white.

The seniors take those colours to Parkgasse 17 for every home fixture.
