In 2024 the over-43 team of TG Bad Soden won the German Championship in its age category.

The women behind it, known locally as the BadSodenerinnen, play for a volleyball department that is much younger than its parent. TG 1875 Bad Soden am Taunus was founded on 23 May 1875 under Heinrich Zahn, and volleyball arrived only in 1972. The department now has a first team in the 2. Bundesliga South, and it has been in and out of that division. Relegation came in the 2004/05 season.

The same year, 2024, brought a near miss for the senior side in the Hesse Cup. Bad Soden reached the final of the HVV-Pokal and lost 2:3 to VC Wiesbaden II.

The veterans have a national title. The first team, Damen 1, has neither a German nor a Hessen championship. The Hesse Cup final is the closest it has come in recent years.
