Chamalierois Women

Nany Lavagne directs the Centre de Formation that Chamalières opened in 2025. Marie Meunier, Naomi Feugas and Ninon Meng are among the academy graduates the club counts as its own.

The route is new, but the climb behind it is not. The club registered in 1967 as a declared association under the law of 1901. It won Nationale 3 in 1996 and Nationale 1 in 2011. In 2017 it added the Coupe de France Fédérale, the amateur cup. The Panthers, Les Panthères in French, now play in Ligue A Féminine, the top division, in red, white and black.

They do it from Gymnase Chatrousse on rue Paul Lapie. Chamalières has no named derby and no fierce local rival. The fixtures that draw the most attention are the ones against Volley Mulhouse Alsace.

Players from outside have come to a hall of that size. Nynke Oud arrived as a Dutch setter, and Sabine Haewegene played there as a French international. For 2025-26 the team wears kit from VOLSTAR.
