Czarni Radom

Paweł Zagumny passed through Radom early, in 1995, two years before the club changed its name, and came back nearly three decades later to run it from the president's office. Czarni had just taken bronze at two straight Polish Championships, in 1993–94 and 1994–95, and in 1998–99 the club beat Yawal AZS Bank Częstochowa 3:2 to lift the Polish Cup under Edward Skorek.

Debts of roughly 1.5 million złoty shut the club down in 2003, and volleyball in Radom restarted from the second division in 2007 under a new operator, the Radomskie Centrum Siatkarskie. It took until 2012–13 to win the first-division title and climb back to the top flight, by which point the club had already been carrying the nickname Wojskowi for decades — a name earned as a military sports club between 1923 and 1997, long before it became a joint-stock company in 2013.

Home games are still played out under Mazovia Derby lights against AZS Politechnika Warszawska, in a hall that seats 2,500.
