Sedziszow Malopolski

Sędziszów Małopolski sits in Subcarpathia, and for two decades its volleyball side has carried the name of the local Avia works before the current sponsor, Avia Solar, took over the title. The club traces itself to 2004, though it has worn several names since — PZL, Extrans, UKS Tęcza — and treats all of them as one continuous line, marking twenty years in 2024 rather than starting the count over.

Promotion has come in stages. In 2015, still as PZL Sędziszów Małopolski, the team won its way into the central 2. Liga. It settled there, reaching third place in Group 6 in 2019/2020, and this past May finally went further: a final tournament in Wieluń, wins over KPS Płock, WKS Wieluń and Energa Trefl II Gdańsk, and a first-ever place in the Tauron 1. Liga for the 2026/2027 season. A year earlier, the side had already given the town something to cheer — the ANSEL Puchar Podkarpacia, taken 3:0 in the final against SST Lubcza Racławówka without dropping a set.

They are known locally as Aviacy, and they play in a hall attached to the town's high school that holds barely 300 people — the one they have. Head coach Tomasz Józefacki has overseen the climb, with Damian Wyszyński assisting him on the bench. The rivalries that matter most are regional: derbies against Karpaty PANS Krosno carry the sharpest edge, alongside meetings with Błękitni Ropczyce and Wisłok Strzyżów.

With the step up to the Tauron 1. Liga, the task changes. The opponents are no longer neighbours but sides like Lechia Tomaszów Mazowiecki, BBTS Bielsko-Biała and GKS Katowice.
