Plock

The team trains and plays at the sports hall attached to the Zespół Szkół Centrum Edukacji on ul. Kobylińskiego, a 1,500-seat venue locals know as the Blaszak Arena. It is not a grand setting, but it has been the one constant through the club's rise.

There had been no men's volleyball club in Płock since 1988, when the section at Wisła Płock was disbanded. KPS Płock was formed in 2018 to fill that gap, and it spent its early years working through the regional ladder: promotion from the fourth division in 2021/2022, then up through the Mazovian third and first divisions before reaching the national II Liga Central in 2024. In 2025, the club went up again, into the 1. Liga, a jump club officials have called the biggest achievement in its short history.

Marcin Lubiejewski took over as coach in 2025 with a stated two-year plan to reach that level; he achieved it in one season. A former national team player with a PlusLiga bronze medal to his name, he brought in players with top-flight experience, among them setter Jan Król, to strengthen the squad. Arkadiusz Jóźwiak has run the club as president through the rise, working alongside sporting director Damian Konopski.

The team plays in white and blue and answers to no nickname beyond its initials — KPS, or simply Siatkarze KPS to those who follow it locally. What rivalries exist have grown out of the II Liga years, against sides such as KKS Kozienice and Huragan VC Błonie, though none has hardened into anything with its own name. For a club seven years removed from not existing at all, the story so far is still mostly about getting into the room.
