Lechia Tomaszow Mazowiecki

In the second tier of Polish volleyball, Tauron 1. Liga, Lechia Tomaszów Mazowiecki went into the 2023/2024 playoffs from seventh place, and only after the Appeal Court upheld a contested walkover result against Avia Świdnik. The junior side had a cleaner run of it, taking the Championship of the Łódź Voivodeship in January 2025.

Volleyball arrived at Lechia late in the club's life. The multi-sport society itself dates to 1923, founded by Stanisław Bouin, Józef Skrzypiński and Leon Drajling around football, and carried through name changes as KS Spójnia, TKKS Sparta-Lechia and RKS Lechia before settling on KS Lechia 1923 in 2019. The men's volleyball section was not added until 1991, nearly seventy years after the club began.

Matches are played at the Arena Lodowa on Strzelecka street, a venue built to hold up to 11,000 for ice sport and scaled down for volleyball. The team wears green and red, and its supporters call themselves Lechiści. Lechia has also tested itself against top-flight opposition in the Polish Cup, meeting Projekt Warszawa in the 2021/2022 edition.

Among those who came through the section, Bartłomiej Neroj is the name Tomaszów Mazowiecki still measures its volleyball against.
