Promotion after promotion, MKS COPCO Imielin's biggest jump came in the 2023/24 season, when the club topped the I Liga Śląska and earned its way back into the II Liga — following the III Liga Śląska title in 2021/22 and the II Liga (Group 4) win in 2022/23 that had sent them up a level before.

The club started in 2015 as something broader than a volleyball side, with fewer than 40 members across several sports; it now counts close to 210 people spread over twelve volleyball groups, three in badminton and one in handball. The women's team carries the club's name into the second tier, playing in orange, blue and white.

Imielin also hosts its own International Women's Volleyball Tournament, the Imielin Cup. The Polish Cup run has been shorter: in 2023/24 the team reached the second preliminary round before ECO Harpoon LOS Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki beat them 3-1.
