Legionovia are rebuilding from the bottom up.

The collapse came fast. The club had reached the Orlen Liga final of the Polish Cup in 2022, losing to Developres Bella Dolina Rzeszów, and had played in the group stage of the CEV Cup that same season. Within months the debts behind the operation, more than 2 million złoty, forced a withdrawal from the league on 19 January 2023, mid-season, and exclusion followed. The senior squad was disbanded and the club started again a division down.

What preceded that fall took longer to build than it took to unwind. Legionovia won the II Liga in 2010–11 and the I Liga the year after, earning a first-ever place in the Tauron Liga in 2012. Alicja Grabka, capped for Poland, wore the shirt across two spells either side of that period, from 2014 to 2018 and again from 2019 to 2022.

The youth section kept producing while the senior team was still climbing: a Polish Junior Championship in 2018 and a Cadet title the same season, evidence of a pipeline that outlasted the crisis at the top.

Matches are played at Arena Legionowo.
