Founded in 2016, VBS Lassnitzhöhe is one of the newer names in the sport in Styria, built under the Sportunion umbrella rather than growing out of an older institution.
What the club has managed is progression: it now competes in the 2. Bundesliga, the second tier of Austrian volleyball, and takes part in the Austria Cup alongside it.
Registered with SPORTUNION Österreich and affiliated to the Styrian Volleyball Federation, VBS Lassnitzhöhe remains, for now, a Graz side working its way up rather than one looking back on titles. Bundesliga and keep pushing for the tier above it.
