The team trains and plays out of the Sport- und Fun Halle Stadlau in Vienna's Donaustadt district. The arrangement reflects what the team itself is: a joint effort rather than a single institution with one home ground.

SG SVS hotVolleys Frauen came together in 2009, when hotVolleys Wien and SVS combined their women's programmes into a single Spielgemeinschaft. Under the combined name, the closest the team came to a national title was in the 2010/11 season, when it finished second in the Austrian League, then followed that with third place the year after.

Beyond the national stage, the club has kept hold of Vienna's own honours: a Wiener Meister title in the women's competition and a Wiener Cupsieger crown. It is a smaller shelf than the one belonging to the men's hotVolleys, whose Austrian championships and cups run into double figures, but that record sits with the men's side alone and has no bearing on what the women's team has built separately since 2009.

The club now competes in the 2.
