Three times the Mühlviertel Volleys have won the 2. Bundesliga Women, and the 2022/23 title took the club from Perg into the top flight, the Austrian Volley League, for the first time.
The team grew out of a Spielgemeinschaft formed in 1997 — the sponsor name on the shirt has changed repeatedly over the years, from Prinz Brunnenbau to Sport Mayr Schwert-Perg to ASKÖ MühlviertelVolleys.
They play out of the Donauwell Arena, the Bezirkssporthalle in Perg, a three-court hall that has hosted youth tournaments drawing crowds in the region of 1,500.
Three 2. Bundesliga titles in nine seasons, one of them finally worth an extra flight up.
